The New Constituency Print E-mail

Tiverton and Honiton stretches along Devon's eastern borders, from Bampton on the fringes of Exmoor, to Seaton on the World Heritage Coast and also includes the towns of Axminster, Cullompton and Colyton.  It will be one of the larger constituencies in England, and of course one of the most naturally beautiful - at least that's our view!

Due to be contested for the first time the next general election, the new constituency will be a straight fight between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives. Whichever of us wins we will have a new MP, as neither of the members whose old constituencies constribute to the seat is standing here. Labour only field a token parliamentary candidate - they have no councillors and could only put up a few candidates in the recent council elections.

If you are not sure whether you live in this area have a look at the maps - or feel free to get in touch with us and we will tell you.  A complete list of the wards and parishes which make up the constituency is here.
